My mom asked me to go through all of our old photos from when my siblings and I were growing up and scan them into the computer so we could all have copies. As I have been scanning hundreds of pictures into the computer I have been enjoying remembering all the fun times I had as a child.
There is something about a photo that just makes you remember all the emotions from when the photo was taken. Whether it is joy, laughter, sadness, or fear.
While I enjoy journaling and writing down my memories, photos have a different and special way of documenting a persons life.
Not only has it been fun to remember old times but looking at photos from when I was a baby and little girl make me even more excited to watch my little girl grow. I can't wait to take photos of her first Christmas, first birthday, first day of school, dance performances or soccer games, music recitals, school field trips, science fair projects, vacations, and annual family portraits.
I hope I am a good mom and remember to document all these fun moments we will experience both in writing as well as in photographs.
